To reach Pirate's Bay you walk out along a dirt track, then down a flight of steps. How many steps? Two discovertnt articles count 157 and 144, the tourism agency speaks of a few dozen. At the bottom the water is calm and clear, and according to the tourism agency the 1952 film "Robinson Crusoe" was shot here. Above the village rises Flagstaff Hill, a US Army lookout in the Second World War, today with a radio mast, benches and a view as far as Little Tobago.
